I want to know what is the living cost in and around Velachery-Chennai.what will be the minimum rent for a 1 bed room flat (my budget-Rs 2500-Rs3500)and the security deposit for the same.what will be the charge for staying as a paying guest there?
how safe is the place is it residential,clean?

Hi,
Velachery is little bit costly now a days bcos of the IT company in and around if your budget is 2500-3500 then you can try in Mdipakkam near to velachery.
Security deposit is 10 times the rent but it depends on the land lord.The problem is you have to go through Brockers for rented house.
